Old Fashioned Tour

Ratings

Rankings for the Old Fashioned Tour will be based on five key metrics, each rated on a 10 point scale.

1. Presentation / Appearance - How appealing does the drink look?
2. Fragrance / Aroma - How good does it smell?
3. First Sip - How good does it taste?
4. Balance - How well balanced is the cocktail?
5. Halfway Sip - How good does it taste now that youre part way through?

In addition to these metrics, we are also gathering the following information.

• Liquor Choice - What liquor was used for the cocktail. Ideally we get the exact name of the bottle used. Francis and Zach will take point on getting this info.
• Price (Non-Well)
• Name of drink (Non-Well) - If this was a specialty or named cocktail, what was it’s name?
• Creativity (Non-Well) - If this was a specialty or named cocktail, how creative was it?
• Would you order it again? - Yes or No

Non-Well old fashioneds are any specailty or named old fashioneds from the menu that we order.

T-Shirts

We will be doing custom t-shirts for the old fashioned tour similar to those that we did for the wing tour.

• These will be band style tour shirts with the locations and dates on the back of them along with a logo for the tour at the top.
• The front of the shirt will also have a tour specific logo on the left breast.

Awards

In additon to the tour shirts, we will be giving away awards to those that meet certain requirements over the course of this tour.

The actual rewards for these categories will be anounced closer to the end of the tour

Award Categories

1. Perfect Attendance

If you are able to make it out every single night of the tour (bar extenuating circumstances) you will receive this categories reward.

Note We will be determining attendance based on the date your rating for each bar was submitted. So remember to submit your ratings!

2. Submit a ratng & picture for every stop

If you take one or more good (no a picture of the back of Zach’s head doesn’t count) of your drink and/or the group at each bar on the tour and submit them with your rating for the bar, you will receive this categories reward.

Note This category is independant of the perfect attendance category. Even if you don’t make it to one of the nights we go out, you can go to that bar at another time, submit a rating with a picture, and it will still count for this category.

3. Best Photographer

At the end of the tour, there will be a vote for best photograph for each bar we go to. For each bar your photo is selected best for, you get a point. The person with the most points at the end of the voting wins.

Note There will be two sub categories for this award.

1. Best drink pictures - Specifically pictures of the cocktails.
2. Best group pictures - Specifically pictures of the group.

4. Best Old Fashioned Recipe

At the end of the tour, we will have our homecoming party. As part of this day, everyone is encouraged to come up with a recipe for an old fashioned that we can try and rate on the day.

If your recipe is voted best, you win this category.

Note:

• There will be two sub categories for this award.
• You must be able to make enough of your old fashioned for the group to sample it. Approximately 32oz.
• You must not spend more than $130 on the ingredients for the old fashioned (Equipment cost not included in the budget).

1. Best “Freezer Door” old fashioned - This category is for a pre-mixed old fashioned recipe that can be made ahead of time and stored.
   1. This must be a ready to drink recipe. No ingredients other than garnishes can be added on the day.
2. Best custom old fashioned - For this category, let your imagionation run wild. You must come up with a recipe that will be made live the day of the homecoming party.
   1. You must have a name for your creation
   2. Bonus points for creativity
